What is the climax of this novel? What happens? How do the events of this novel make you feel?

I believe the climax of the novel is when Ralph is hiding from the rest of the boys, scared of being killed by them, and he collapses at the beach front. He sees the naval officer. This is the climax. He begins to cry when the officer sees the other boys, and how savage they have become. When he weeps, it shows how much he cares and how he has been saved. He weeps for glory, and mainly, i believe, he weeps because he can now bring the savage boys into civilization for them to be cleaned. The events are very shocking, and very evil. When the boys first kill Simon, i was so shocked. It shows me how much they have been consumed by the evil since when they first landed on the island, trying to be logical by being smart. But now they just turn savage, especially when Jack and the other boys try to kill Piggy and Ralph, it shows how savage they have become. The events are very sad, but they show much meaning in that sadness. The events are like historical, and although seem odd, they somehow make sense. How the boys slowly turn to the "dark side". All the killing.. how they are blinded from truth and simply are being little boys, but Ralph remains to be mature in the fact which he wants to be saved, and is just trying to be a helper.
